Now THAT’S Funny
When I saw an ad for And Here’s the Kicker in Vanity Fair, I didn’t pay much attention. I was interested in the idea of a book that was “Conversations with top humor writers about their craft,” but I was worried that the interviews would be Vanity Fair throwaways.
Then I heard author Mike Sacks on The Sound of Young America and I changed my mind on the book.
It’s great! Buck Henry, Larry Wilmore, Dick Cavett, Robert Smigel, David Sedaris and 16 others all discuss their OCD and their approach to being funny. It’s insightful and it’s funny…definitely not something to ignore.
